The WLIS Program provides women in the Australian sport industry with opportunities to gain new skills, knowledge and qualifications to progress on their leadership pathway in the sector. There are 3 different opportunities available, as follows:

• Category 1 – Online Leadership Workshops: delivered to women who are active within the industry and those that are seeking to transition into the sports industry;
• Category 2 – Individual Development Grants: Provide women with opportunities to undertake a range of developmental programs and training to progress on their leadership pathway, to the value of $10,000 to support professional development;
• Category 3 – Organisation Development Grants: Encourage national and state sporting organisations to build leadership competencies and capabilities, for women in sport, to the value of $20,000.
